Murphy's Law Revisited
"If anything can go wrong, it will"

For decades, "Murphy's Law" has given rise to countless rules that attempt to explain the way the world really works. Recently, we ran across a list of them that appeared in Games Magazine back in 1989 -- and found them to be just as relevant today!

Alicia's Discovery: When you move something to a more logical place, you only can remember where it used to be and your decision to move it.

Barker's Proof: Proofreading is more effective after publication. (We know this to be true!)

Dolan's Law: If a person has had any connection with Harvard University or the state of Texas, he will find a way to make that known to you during the first 10 minutes of your first conversation.

Kennevan's Conundrum: Why is it that when a politician says, "That's a good question," he/she never has a good answer?

Whateley's Truths: (1) Everything sounds romantic in French. (2) Everything sounds like an order in German. (3) Everything sounds like an argument in Italian.

Zeek's Discovery: The key to flexibility is indecision.

Thank you, Stryker
