Entertainment: Linda Boudreau & Ted Mortimer
of "Dr. Burma"

"Lead vocalist Linda Boudreau has won an enthusiastic following with her unique and soulful style. Linda has also performed with Dartmouth's Barbary Coast Jazz Ensemble, the VT Jazz Ensemble, a variety of small jazz groups, and the popular zydeco group "The Goat Broke Loose".    Guitarist Ted Mortimer is a founding member of the Dr. Burma Band. His musical resume includes over 25 years of concerts, clubs and recording on the East Coast and in Los Angeles. He has also performed on VPR and has appeared in Jazz and Blues clubs in Los Angeles and New York City including the Troubadour, the Five Spot and Manny's Car Wash. "

*"Volunteers" are those folks who sign the volunteer books at the front desk when they perform volunteer work at the Bugbee Senior Center. Everyone is welcome to attend, but
please sign up by  Tuesday, April 17th,  as seating is limited. Please carpool, if possible, as  parking is also limited.


Quilt Tickets Available

     The Bugbee Quilters have  created another quilt to raffle off to benefit the Center. This twin-size quilt, "Starz", features an original star design in shades of dark blue, light blue and pink.  It is on display in our dining room. Be sure to stop in and take a look.
     The drawing will be held at the Lions Club Pancake
Breakfast on Sunday, April 22nd. Tickets are available from White River Lions Club members or at the Center for $1 each or
10 for $5.
