December Happenings
Dec. 2 8:30 Bugbee Breakfast. Join us for scrambled eggs, sausage, home-fried potatoes, toast, orange juice and coffee/tea/milk for just $3. 10:00 Deck our halls (and the rest of the Center) for the holiday season. 12:30 "Book Bits". Edye Lowell will bring a sampling of books that you might enjoy from Quechee Library. 1:00 Bugbee Book Club. The book this month is John Grisham's best-seller, "The Broker".
Dec. 5 9:30 Shirt Painting Class. Bring a shirt, scissors and $5. Mary Wood will bring designs, paints and instruction. Please sign up. 12:30 "Holiday Musical Medley". Paul Feeney, tenor extraordinaire, will start off our holiday entertainment. If you've ever heard Paul sing, you know you'll want to be here. If you haven't, don't miss this opportunity!
Dec. 7 10:30 "Together" with Judy Adams. "Does Your Kidney Wish It Were a Knee?" Is there really anyone on the face of the Earth with whom you would trade places? We will share ways to adapt to life's "bumps in the road".
Dec. 8 9:00 Set up for Bazaar. We'll shift into high gear to get everything ready for our biggest fund-raising event of the year. The pool room will be closed until Wednesday, Dec. 14th. 12:30 "Medicare Part D Plans". Robert Rousse, Mutual of Omaha, will discuss the plans that are available in VT and how to choose among them.
Dec. 10 9:00 CHRISTMAS BAZAAR! See article on page 1. Sale will continue all next week, but come on Saturday for best selection and door prizes.
Dec. 12 11:15 Hanover H. S. "Footnotes" Because of their schedule, this talented group of students will be performing before lunch. They've been the highlight of our holiday season for the past several years.

Dec. 15 12:30 White River 3rd Graders will entertain with songs of the season.
Dec. 19 1:00 Bugbee Cinema. Relax in front of our big screen TV with a very funny movie: "The Santa Clause", starring Tim Allen.
Dec. 21 11:30 Social Time; 12:00 Christmas Dinner. Please sign up. Carpool, if possible, as parking is limited.
Dec. 28 10:30 "Together" with Judy Adams. "Letting Go of 2005". So much of our future depends upon how we handle today. We will remember the past and share ideas about how we can build on our strengths for 2006. 12:30 "Yankee Swap". Everyone who brings in a wrapped gift (suggested value $3). will take one home, though not necessarily the one they unwrap. Swapping around makes the game fun.
Dec. 29 12:30 Dancers' Corner Recital. Come enjoy dancers of all ages at their annual visit to the Center.
Dec. 30 12:30 "See You Next Year!" with Judy Adams. Did 2005 fly by quickly for you? Are you saying "I should have…", "I never…", or "If only I had…"? We often dwell on the negative at the end of a project. Let's focus on the coming new year and our opportunity to continue our plans with contentment and enthusiasm. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
