Quilts for Hurricane Victims
Bugbee Quilters have completed 12 quilts for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Carol Coski of Quilt-a-Way Quilt Shop, in Westminster, VT, donated fabric for some of the quilts. We also used material that we have here at Bugbee Senior Center. Some quilters donated tops to be completed for this project. The quilts were given to Judith Harden, who is connected with the ABC Program in VT. She arranged for the quilts to be shipped to ABC Programs in Louisiana and Texas, where they will be distributed to the hurricane victims.
Help from all the quilters who participated in any way is greatly appreciated. Also, our thanks to Carol Coski for the material and to Judith Harden for her help.
