Low Vision Support Group

The VT Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired    conducts a "PALS" group at the  Bugbee Senior Center at 9:45 on the first Thursday of every month. PALS stands for "Peer  Assisted Learning and Support." During each session, participants have an opportunity to learn from a certified rehabilitation professional and each other.
Some of the goals of the    program are to educate clients on ways to cope with their vision loss, encourage them to try out various aids and devices, and to minimize the feelings of isolation and depression that are often  associated with vision loss.
No pre-registration is required and there is no fee.
