Jan. 7 12:30 "Upper Valley Tech Center". Brett Bourne, owner of the Tip Top Building in WRJ, will tell all the details about the new Technology Center that has opened there. The facility has the latest computer technology and qualified technical support personnel to help people learn more about computers and using the internet. Find out how you can use these services.

Jan. 13 12:30 "Money Management" Katherine Adams, Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley in West Lebanon, will give an educational presentation on the seven important tips for managing your money in retirement. Some of the topics include determining your monthly cash flow and how to sure you don't outlive your assets.

Jan. 21 12:30 "Antiques Road Show" Si Lupton of the Hartland Antiques Center will return to offer an opinion on what your item(s) may be worth in today's market. You are invited to bring in a maximum of 3 small items on the 21st and Si will discuss as many as time allows. Please sign up if you plan to bring in an item.
Jan. 22 9:00 Quilting w/Colleen. This month's project will be a "Mystery Block". Please sign up. There are spaces for 12 people to sew and 6 to observe. Bring your own machine. You will get the materials list when you sign up.
Jan. 28 12:30 "Advance Directives". Eleanor Zue, Paralegal, will explain the "Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care" and the "Living Will" that everyone should consider filling out before they actually need them. Forms will also be available for your use.
Jan. 29 12:30 "Fall Risk/Balance Screening". DHMC, VNA Physical Therapy department and Upper Valley Ambulance are working together to advocate for the prevention of falls. Dawna Pidgeon, Registered Physical Therapist, will be here to explain this program and help you assess your own risk of falling and preventative steps you might choose to take.
