Free Legal Clinic (By appointment only)
Tuesday, January 12, 2010

There are a few appointments available for Vermonters age 60 and older to meet with an attorney from the Senior Citizens Law Project of VT Legal Aid. This clinic is sponsored by VT Legal Aid and the Council on Aging for Southeastern VT. The attorney will be able to give legal advice or referrals on a wide range of civil issues. (If you have received any paperwork pertaining to your problem, please bring it with you.) The attorney can't help with criminal cases and the problem must be  your own, not your neighbor's or a family member's.
To make an appointment for a free, confidential, 20-minute consultation, call 295-9068.

Staff Changes at Bugbee Senior Center

We are pleased to announce that Christy Hazen of  West Hartford has joined our staff as Assistant Cook. Christy lives in West Hartford with her husband and two young sons. We look forward to working with her.

Special Thanks…
...
to Rosalie Day for coming in every day to manage our "extended Bazaar" sales. Her efforts brought in an amazing amount of  money for us.
...to Myrtle Spaulding for donating a wonderful puzzle board to the Center. Now we can move a puzzle-in-progress without dismantling it.
