Thank the Caregivers
Alzheimer's is a devastating disease, and more than 70% of the sufferers live at home, with their families supplying nearly all of their care. This can be physically demanding. Many sufferers can't bathe or dress themselves and need help with eating and the toilet. Caregivers often become isolated from friends and community. The Sharing Care program now offers a way to thank these caregivers. It developed four free online greeting cards using art by patients at the Alvin A. Dublin Alzheimer's Resource Center in Florida. You'll find them at www.sharingcare.com and www.americangreetings.com.
