12:45 Book Club. This month's book is  "When the Emperor Was Devine", by  Julie Otsuka.  The story of a Japanese- American family, one of thousands  reclassified as enemy aliens and sent  to a dusty internment camp of World  War II, is told from five different points  of view in exquisite detail. You do not  need to have completed reading the  book to attend the meeting.

July 14   10:30 "Together" Women's  Group  with Judy Adams. "Living to  100: News and Clues" Do you think  about living to be 100? Good habits  every day will  help us live a longer life.  Join us to learn of 17 wise choices!  Bring your smiles!
12:45 "St Gaudens" video. Come see  the site we'll be touring on Thursday.
3:00 "Visiting Websites & Finding  Information on the Web".  This program  will be a beginner's introduction to how  to visit websites, click on links, and  search for information using Google. It  will include tips on internet safety. It is  designed for those who have never  used the internet or who are new to  using the web. This one hour program,  presented by ValleyNet, is free and  open to the public.


July 15  12:30 "Thinking About Selling Your  Home?". Come hear a presentation by  Realtors Franziska & Tom Rutkowski  from Lang-McLaughry-Spera of  Woodstock about housing market issues  involved in selling a house in today's  economy.

July 21  9:30 Bazaar Meeting. Yes, it is that  time again! If you are interested in  working on our annual Christmas  Bazaar, please come to this meeting.
12:30 Hildene video. This will be a short  preview of the Lincoln family home in  Manchester, VT, that we will visit in  August.

July 24  8:30 Waffle Breakfast! Last month we  added a waffle breakfast to our schedule  and it was so well attended that we  decided to do it again.  Waffles (with  maple syrup or strawberries and whipped  cream), bacon, orange juice, and coffee/ tea/milk for just $3 suggested donation.  Please sign up.

July 27  12:30 Jim Southworth will play familiar  tunes on his keyboard so you can sing  along.

July 28  3:00 "What's Email All About?". Lots of  people today use email, but the many  options available when using email can  sometimes be confusing. We'll discuss  how to send and receive email, how to  send email to more than one person at a  time, how to enclose photos and  documents with your email, and how to  stay safe online. This one hour program,  presented by ValleyNet, is free and open  to the public.

July 29 12:30 "The History of the Stanley
Steamer" Dan Bourdon, of West  Woodstock, has been involved with the  preservation and restoration of steam  cars since childhood. He will bring his  1911 Model 85 Open Touring Car and,  following his presentation, 5 lucky  doorprize winners will get to take a spin  (weather permitting, of course).
