May Happenings May 4 12:30 "Medicare Reform". Former Presidential candidate Robert Linnell will address the Medicare Reform Bill and its benefits for seniors.
May 5 10:30 "Together" with Judy Adams. Come join this congenial group if you have ever struggled to find the right words in difficult situations. 12:00 Mother's Day Luncheon. Everyone is welcome; mothers are particularly encouraged to come.
May 6 9:30 Low Vision Support Group. If low vision makes your life difficult, come meet with others who are dealing with the same challenges. Learn new coping skills and find out about assistive technology available today.
May 11 12:30 "Lifeline". Lee Rickes and Karen Coffey from DHMC will explain how this program can offer a sense of security for people living alone.
May 13 9:00 Quilting with Colleen. This month's class will be a demonstration of "Scrappy String" quilts.
May 17 12:30 Sing-Along with Elaine DeForge. Loosen up your vocal chords and enjoy singing familiar songs of by- gone eras.
May 18 12:00 "Music of the 40's". Galen Mudgett will return with his saxophone and entertain you with WWII-era melodies.

May 19 Older Americans Day Night Opening. Join us in celebrating the lives of those age 80 and over and those married 50 years or more. The Center will open at 3:30. We will have a "Social Time" with light hors d'oeurvres at 4:30, followed by a chicken cordon bleu dinner at 5:00. Al Alessi will entertain at 6:00. Suggested donation: $5 per person. Please sign up by Tuesday, May 18th.
May 20 12:00 Music by Jim Southworth. We know it's spring when our snowbirds return! Jim is back from Florida and will bring his keyboard to entertain you.
May 26 10:30 "Together" with Judy Adams. This week's topic is "Connections" -- how do our relationships with others impact our lives… and theirs.
May 28 12:00 Memorial Day Observance. We will have a brief program which will include reading of the names of departed loved ones on our Memorial Honor Roll ( See page 1.) and patriotic music performed by our own "Suite Notes".
