This year, we will be combining our Bazaar and Cookie Sale into one gala event on Saturday, Dec. 10th, and are hoping to get donations for the following "departments":

• "Boutique" items: new or in "like new" condition so they would be appropriate to be given as gifts.
  
• "White Elephant" items: clean, usable items that you no longer need but which someone else might want.
  
• Handmade items: knit, crocheted, sewn, quilted, painted, embroidered, tatted, découpaged, or any other handicraft of your choice.
  
• Jewelry: earrings, bracelets, necklaces, pendants, rings...whatever you have that you're ready to part with.
  
• Fancy cookies: cut-out shapes, frosted, decorated or whatever your favorite holiday cookies happen to be.
  
• Home-made items: pies, cakes, snack items, yeast bread, candy, fudge, jam, jellies, baked beans, sugared nuts, or anything else that would enhance our food sale.
  

We want to thank Helga Alexander, Bernice Ballard,   Giana Bergonzi, Jean Cumby, Arlene Hutchins, Clair and Joyce     Lovell, Regina Murray, Lucille Remick, Eleanor Smith and Sandra Smith for their generous donations to our "New Van Fund". So far, donations have totaled $1,007.50.  If you would care to help us raise the funds we need to make the   required match, just send a check to "WRCOA", 262 N Main St, WRJ, VT 05001. Please include a note or write "new van fund" in the memo section of your check.

The Visiting Nurse Alliance of VT/NH will conduct a flu shot clinic at Bugbee Senior Center on Thursday, Nov. 3  from 9AM-12PM.
No charge for Medicare recipients who bring their card; all others will be charged $20. No appointments will be given. Please be   prepared to wait.
