Join us for  scrambled eggs, sausage, home fries,  toast, orange juice and coffee/tea/ milk. $2.50 Please sign up.
Carl's Foliage Ride. Take a ride  through the countryside to see the  changing leaves. Bring along money  for ice cream "just in case". Please  sign up. (Rain Date: Oct. 10)

Oct. 7(& 21) 12:30 Cribbage with Cliff.
Come  for an afternoon of cribbage with Cliff  and company. Bring your own board if  you wish or use one of ours. No  charge, but please sign up.

Oct 8 (&22) 9:00 Bazaar Workshop.
Come  lend a hand making items for our  Christmas Bazaar/Gift Extravaganza/ Holiday Boutique (see page 3).

Oct. 9 9:00 Quilting with Colleen
. This  month's project will be "Evening  Stars". Please sign up. There is space  in the class for 12 machines and 6  silent observers. Materials list will be  given when you sign up.
12:30 Blazin' Bingo with Jere Smith. A  different kind of Bingo! No charge.  Prizes will be awarded.

Oct. 10 12:30 Fire Safety.
It's Fire Prevention  Week and Assistant Chief Steve  Leinoff of the Hartford Fire Department  will give a presentation.

Oct. 14 12:30 Jim Southworth
will entertain  on his keyboard. This will probably be  Jim's last performance at the Bugbee  Senior Center before heading south for  the winter. Don't miss it!


Oct. 15 VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION NIGHT!
  (See page 1) This is our annual dinner to  recognize the contribution that volunteers  make to our Center.  The Center will open at  3:30. We will start with a "social half-hour" at  4:30, followed by dinner at 5:00. We will  formally recognize our volunteers and award  door prizes. We are very pleased that Al  Alessi will provide our "after dinner " entertainment. There will be no charge for  volunteers. (Volunteers are those who "sign  the book" to document their hours  of  service.) For all others, the suggested  donation will be $5.00. Seating is limited so  please sign up.

Oct. 16 12:30 Apple Day.
Paula Gray from the  Hanover Co-op will bring dessert. We'll learn  about and sample different kinds of apples  and find out why "an apple a day keeps the  doctor away".

Oct. 22 12:30 Sing-Along with Elaine DeForge
from  Williamstown, VT. Elaine will play some old  favorite tunes from your younger years.  Come join the fun!

Oct. 29 12:30 Pedometer Clinic
with Dr.  McCullough. Do you walk enough during the  day? How would you know? Come to this  "clinic" to find out.

Oct. 30 9:00--Noon FLU SHOT CLINIC.
The VT/NH  VNA has scheduled a flu shot clinic for   Thursday, Oct. 30th, from 9:00 to Noon.   There will be no charge for Medicare  recipients who bring their card; all others will  be charged $18. No appointments will be  given. Please be prepared to wait.

Oct. 31 10:30 Cider and Donuts.
Wear a costume or  put one together from our "dress up box".  We may have some surprise activities to  keep you entertained until lunch!
12:00 Halloween Luncheon followed by a  costume parade. Prizes will be awarded.
