The Community of Vermont Elders learns from elders in communities across the state and explains to policy makers their problems and concerns. They are holding Vermont Senate candidate forums as a means of educating voters about the candidates' views on elder issues, and informing candidates for the legislature about the concerns of elders.

Flu Shot Clinic
The Visiting Nurse Alliance of VT/NH will be conducting a flu shot clinic at the Bugbee Senior Center on Thursday. October 28th, from 9:00 to Noon. There will be no charge for Medicare recipients who bring their card; all others will be charged $20. No appointments will be given. Please be prepared to wait. See page 2 for more information on other ways to reduce your risk of getting the flu.
