Oct. 1  8:30 Bugbee Breakfast. Join us for  scrambled eggs, sausage, home-fried  potatoes, toast, orange juice and  coffee/tea/milk for just $2.50 Please  sign up.
12:30 Carl's Foliage Ride. Take a ride  in our van through the countryside to  see the emerging fall colors. Bring  along a little cash in case there's a  place to stop for ice cream. Please  sign up.

Oct. 4  12:30 "Is Yoga For You?". Helen Dicke  will explain the benefits of this gentle  form of exercise and relaxation.
1:30 Yoga Class. If yoga is for you, join  this class, which will continue on  Mondays. Fee: $5 per class. Please  sign up.

Oct. 5  12:30 "Safe Steps". Eileen Katchen of  the VNA will explain about this  program that can reduce your chances  of being injured in your home. See  related article on page 3.

Oct. 6 10:30 "Together" with Judy Adams.  "Empowerment". Our self esteem  plays a large role in our daily energy  level and ability to focus on that which  we need to accomplish. We will share  ideas of encouragement.
12:30 "An Apple a Day". Vicki Hicks of  the Hanover Co-op will talk about the  nutritive value of apples, and introduce  several varieties. She'll bring apple  crisp and ice cream for dessert.

Oct. 14 9:00 Quilting w/Colleen.  "Mystery  Quilt". Please sign up to get materials  list. Some pre-class preparation is  required. Class limited to 12.

12:30 Bugbee Talent Show.  We  decided to give all you talented folks a  little more time to get your act together  before taking it on the road to the  Bugbee Senior Center. Sing, dance,  share your best stand-up comedy  routine….but please be sure to sign  up!









Oct. 15  12:30 "Age is a State of Mind" w/Judy  Adams. Do we "age" because we grow  older or do we grow older because of our  age? We will discuss the importance our  attitude plays in our life's journey.

Oct. 18  12:30 "5 Colors a Day". Judi Simon- Bouton of the Hanover Co-op will share this  method of keeping track of the fruits and  vegetables you eat each day. Judi will bring  fruit  kabobs with a dipping sauce for  dessert.

Oct. 19  12:30 "Adult Day Care". Ann Marie Love,  Director of the Adult Day Care Program at  Kendal of Hanover, will describe the  services they offer and tell how to access  them.

Oct. 20 10:30 "Together" w/Judy Adams. "Rose  Colored Glasses". How do we look at life?  Are we realistic with our expectations of  others?
12:30 "Flu Update" Wendy Thomas, RN,  will give us an update on the upcoming flu  season and who should get immunized.

Oct. 21  12:30 Music w/Gary and Susie Engler. It's  been a while since we've had the pleasure  of listening to Gary and Susie. Come see  why we're excited that they're coming back!

  12:30 "Antique Road Show". You are  invited to bring in up to 3 small items. Si  Lupton, owner of the Hartland Antique  Center, will give an educated opinion of  their value in today's market. Please sign  up.

Oct. 27  12:00 Retired Nurses Luncheon. We hope  all the retired nurses will join us for lunch.  (All are welcome but we ask nurses to sign  up so we can seat them together.)

Oct. 28 9:00--12:00 Flu Shot Clinic. There  is no  charge for  Medicare recipients who  bring their card; all others must pay a fee.

Oct. 29 10:00 Cider & Doughnuts. Join us for a  seasonal treat. Wear a costume or put one  together from our "dress up" box.
12:00 Halloween Lunch followed by a  costume parade. Prizes will be awarded.
