WRCOA Annual Appeal

Our new fiscal year begins on October 1st. As we have done for the past several years, we will be sending out a special letter to everyone on our Bugbee Bulletin mailing list. We hope this will serve as a convenient reminder to those who want to make an annual financial contribution to the White River Council on Aging/Bugbee Senior Center.

We do not charge a membership fee or "dues" of any kind, but we depend on donations to support part of our annual budget. All donations are very much appreciated and are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

If you have recently made a donation, please accept our gratitude!

Headed South?

If you will be leaving for all or part of the winter (long enough to have your mail held or forwarded by the Post Office), please let us know so that we can stop sending your
Bugbee Bulletin or send it to your winter address. Otherwise, the Post Office will return it to us and charge us 37¢.

A quick phone call from you will make a big difference to us. Be sure to let us know when you return so we can put you back on the mailing list or update your address.

"Glory Days of the Railroad" Quilt Show & Sale Update

On Saturday, Sept. 10th, our quilters created a wonderful display of handmade quilts, wall-hangings, table runners, placemats and other items in our dining room.  The sale brought in $823.88, of which the Center received $333.55. The remainder went to the consigners and sales tax.
Our other fundraising efforts that day were also successful:
Lunch            $128.85
Books               532.00
Quilt Raffle
169.00 (includes some prior sales)
                           829.85

333.55
1163.40 total for Bugbee Senior Center
The Crafts Store also had $99.15 in sales for the day.

Our thanks to the Bugbee Quilters, Eleanor Smith, Janet Warren, Nora Newcity and everyone else who helped with this fund-raising event.
