Quilt Raffle Tickets Available

As we have done for several years, we will be raffling a quilt at our Bazaar to benefit the Bugbee Senior Center. This year's quilt is a "Morning Star" pattern in red, green and white. The drawing will be held at the Cookie Sale on Saturday, December 11th. You do not have to be present to win. Tickets are available now at the Center for $1 each or 6 for $5. If you would be willing to sell tickets on our behalf, please call us at 295-9068.

Bazaar Update

Some important decisions were made at the Bazaar planning meeting that was held on August 4th. After reviewing the financial report from last year's Bazaar, it was decided that we will start off with our traditional Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, December 4th, then continue with "Bazaar Week", December 6 through 11, and end with our annual Cookie Sale on Saturday, December 11th.  The bake sale that usually was part of the Bazaar will be held on the 11th in conjunction with the Cookie Sale.

Now we are looking for volunteers! We will need people to:

  • Lead/participate in classes to make items to sell;
  • Mark prices on items;
  • Set up for the Bazaar;
  • Sell quilt raffle tickets;
  • Work at the Bazaar, Cookie Sale and Food Sale.
