Hostess/Host

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Being at the sign-in area at 10:30, staying there as long as people are coming in, and getting up and welcoming people who are latecomers.
    
2. Checking for reserved spots at tables, so that you will know where folks may be seated.
    
3. Putting down name tags at places where people have requested reserved spaces.
    
4. Making sure that people coming to the center feel welcome and informing new comers where the coat racks, restrooms, etc. are located.

DUTIES:

1. Check with the staff to find out in any special guests are expected and if any will be eating early.
    
2. Welcome folks as they arrive.
    
3. Welcome new comers in a warm friendly manner, escorting them to a table and making introductions as appropriate.
    
4. Suggest people sit at tables with others, rather than sitting alone at empty tables.
    
5. Help the Greeter with their duties if requested.
