Nutritious hot meals are served weekdays at noon at the Bugbee Senior Center for a voluntary contribution. The suggested donation for people age 60 and over is $4.00. People under age 60 are welcome to dine at the Center for $5.00. Meals typically include a salad, entree, dessert and beverage, served by volunteer wait staff. The complete menu is available in the monthly "Bugbee Bulletin", which can be accessed via the link on our tool bar under"The Center". Reservations are not required, except for special meals as noted in the "Bugbee Bulletin". Special seating requests are accomodated whenever possible.
We encourage seniors to join us for lunch in our dining room, but for those whose physical condition does not allow them to come, home-delivered meals are available to frail and convalescing seniors within our service area. Hot meals are delivered to frail or convalescing seniors, Monday through Friday, by volunteer meal drivers. Frozen meals for the weekend are available on request. Frozen meals are also sent out for days when the Center is closed. The suggested donation for home-delivered meals is also $4.00 per meal.
