Volunteers For Seniors

We’re always looking for new volunteers to join us at the Bugbee Center. If you would like to help local seniors and you have time that you could spare, we’d be happy to help you learn more about the facilities available at the center and the volunteer services that are provided.

Volunteer Positions

Home Delivered Meal Drivers Drivers to deliver meals to home-bound or convalescing individuals and act as liaison between the WRCOA/Bugbee Senior Center and the homebound.

Receptionist Someone to welcome guests as they arrive at the center, receive phone calls, and schedule various appointments.

Driver/Escort People who will provide safe, dependable rides for those individuals without their own means of transportation.

Greeter Greet those signing in for lunch at the meal registration table, collect donations and record the requested information.

Hostess/Host Welcome and seat guests who come to the center for lunch and inform new comers about the center’s facilities.

Wait Staff Serve and clean up after lunch in our dining room. Does not involve carrying heavy trays or taking orders for meals.
