Are you looking to have your next gathering or meeting at a spacious and homey facility? Bugbee Senior Center might be the perfect space for you and group! We are located in White River Junction, Vermont; just up the street from the quaint, historic downtown area. Bugbee Senior Center is open for lunch and activities every week day from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, however, we are more than happy to rent out our space after hours. If you can only meet during the day, we can coordinate a time for your group to use one of our extra spaces. Then you can stay for lunch! Whether you are part of a small acapella group or a larger quilting crew, we are able to accommodate your needs. We are extremely proud of the T.D. Bugbee Building, and hope you consider using it for your next meeting.
In general the kitchen is off limits unless you need to store items or would like to use the serving window. We encourage renters to bring their own food or catering. The commercial equipment in our kitchen requires training to use and we follow strict food safety and sanitation standards. With over a hundred seniors that depend on our ability to provide food daily, you can imagine how important it is to ensure the kitchen is kept ready for business at all times.
Yes. All activity rooms, including the main dining area, are equipped with screens and speakers. Let us know about your A/V needs!
Consumption of alcohol is not permitted at Bugbee Senior Center.
Generally, yes, we ask for event insurance naming Bugbee Senior Center as additional insured, with property, casualty, and liability coverage. This may seem like a hassle but that “one in a million” occurrence can be devastating for you, and for Bugbee, if it’s not prepared for. One day event insurance is generally inexpensive. Contact your insurance provider or search online for companies that specialize in this type of coverage.
Welcoming the community is core to who we are at Bugbee, and has always been part of the building’s vocation. We aim to be open and available to as many people as possible. Let us know your needs, and will do our best to work within your budget.
Most event bookings at Bugbee are self-serve. If you would like additional services, such as cleaning, staffing, or event promotion, make a note and we can talk!
