Excursion #5: VINS And Quechee Gorge Snack Bar!
Songbirds, Raptors, Nature Trails… Oh my! We’re taking a trip to VINS! The Forest Canopy Walk, Nature Trails, Adventure Playscape, Raptor Exhibits, Songbird Aviary, Forest Exhibit with a slide out the back, and Birds are Dinosaur Exhibit are all included in your visit to VINS. Please note that there is a lot of walking on this mini-trip including over uneven terrain. There are picnic tables near the entrance gate that you are welcome to use as homebase and leave your backpacks. There is also a restroom by the entrance and at the lower level as well. There is a water bottle filler at the bottom of the hill by those restrooms.
$15 for VINS entry fee. Bring your own money for lunch at the Quechee Gorge Snack Bar. Please note: The entry fee is non refundable as VINS is no longer able to make adjustments to the payment on our arrival and therefore will not refund the Center for no shows.
9:00 am – Meet at Bugbee Senior Center. We will leave here at 9:30.
10:00 am – Tour VINS until 12:00 pm.
12:00 pm – Head over to Quechee Gorge Snack Bar for lunch.
