The building is showing signs of its age – 45 years old! – so it’s time for a little TLC. We are scheduling electrical and plumbing work that will require some changes to the schedule, and some of the more major repairs will put the kitchen out of service for 1-2 weeks beginning the week of February 2.

Here is what we are expecting:
Week One: February 2 – 9.
- Meals on Wheels – will continue to be delivered with food from an alternate meal provider.
- Congregate Lunch – Canceled
- In-person activities & services – Canceled or relocated off-site. Call 802-295-9068 for more info!
Week Two: February 9 – 13.
- Meals on Wheels – will continue to be delivered with food from an alternate meal provider.
- Congregate Lunch – Limited lunch services during the second week of repairs through catering.
- In-person activities & services – UPDATE: We are expecting to resume in-person activities and services by Wednesday, February 11.
Week Three: February 17-20 (closed on 2/16 for Washington’s Birthday)
We are hopeful that things will be back to normal by Week 3. For any remaining repairs, we are expecting to be able to work around the usual calendar of activities.
As many of you know, repairs can sometimes be unpredictable, so we appreciate your flexibility, and especially your patience! We will be communicating updates through our website and via email, and will send information to Meals on Wheels clients with deliveries.
